“As the 66th Anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution approaches, we continue to be inspired by that majestic victory of Fidel (Castro), Raúl (Castro), the Cuban people and their great fighters of Sierra Maestra, who stirred and encouraged the Revolutionary Awakening of Our America-Caribbean,” the message noted. It also expressed growing respect and admiration for the commander-in-chief, the people and “the heroic guerrillas who lit the flame of our revolutions amid so many battles, amid more and more heroism, amid sublime and formidable resistance and victory.”
The message emphasized that every day that goes by facing all the injustices, threats and unacceptable aggression, the strength of the Cuban people’s example of dignity and courage grows in the world, whose name is synonymous and a sign of historic greatness and of a brave and unwavering decision to fight at all times, and to continue to advance.
“In the face of all the challenges, in the face of all the unusual abuses, the Cuba of Fidel (Castro), Raúl (Castro), of its president Miguel Díaz-Canel, is an infinite light that continues to light up the Future with integrity and nobility,” the document pointed out.
Signed by President Daniel Ortega and Vice President Rosario Murillo, the text affirmed that among the many difficulties generated by the Imperialists of the Earth, “we are brothers, unwavering fighters and we are sure to always go further with the courage and glory of the greatest of Our America.”
