According to the notification, he also ratified the ‘firm will to continue strengthening the historic friendship relations between both nations.
The day before, it was reported that Pak Thae Song was appointed as the country’s new prime minister at an Enlarged Meeting of the Eleventh Plenary Session of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
Cuba and the DPRK established diplomatic relations on August 29, 1960, and since then have maintained a friendship based on mutual respect and solidarity, based on statements of the two countries’ authorities.
The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea condemns the US blockade on Cuba, while the Caribbean island advocates peace on the Korean peninsula.
