With the technical support of the Provincial Sports Directorate, the Marabana-Maracuba National Commission for Races and Walks is organizing the event as part of the celebrations for the 66th anniversary of the Triumph of the Revolution.
The 10-kilometer course will be held around the iconic capital venue and runners must complete five laps on a route that includes Vía Blanca, Primelles, Santa Catalina and Boyeros avenues.
The race will begin at 07:00 hours, local time, and the start will be located in the parking lot of the facility. One hour before the race, participants must report to verify their registration, using the official Marabana 2024 bibs.
In addition to the competitive aspect, this edition of the San Silvestre Race stands out for its inclusive approach. The first three places will be awarded in both the male and female categories, as well as the best representatives of associations of people with disabilities, and special acknowledgements will be granted, reinforcing the inclusive and community nature of the event.
