According to the specialist on his Telegram channel, a positive trend can be seen in the advance of Russian troops near Volchansk (aka Vovchansk), which are making small progress within the urban core of the city itself, where the Ukrainians have established a fierce defense.

In addition, Russian forces advanced towards Zagryzovo, taking control of almost half of the village.

The expert said that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine sent reserves to stop the Russian advance but Russian forces successfully held their positions and destroyed several enemy strongholds.

In Zagryzovo, Russian assault troops entered the village, taking advantage of gaps in the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In parallel, units of the Southern group of troops entered the settlement of Annovka and also Elizavetovka in Donetsk.
