According to the Chinese Committee for the Promotion of International Trade (Ccpit), more than 500 professionals from the exhibition industry of 19 countries and regions confirmed their participation, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Japan and the nations of Southeast Asia.
The event is scheduled for January 8-10, 2025 in Tianjin, northern China, a city that seeks to strengthen its presence in the global exhibition and convention industry.
International experts will discuss the development of this sector in the context of new global productive dynamics.
Government officials and trade promotion institutions from various regions, including Singapore, Thailand and Hong Kong, as well as numerous leaders of industrial and trade associations from around the world are expected to participate.
The Minister of Exhibition Management of the CCPIT, Wu Shengrong, stressed that this edition promises to be a key space for reflection on trends in the sector worldwide, as well as for cooperation and the exchange of experiences between companies and organizations in the trade fair sector.
Chinese specialists explained that the CEFCO 2025 will be an excellent opportunity to delve deeper into topics such as the digitalisation of the trade fair sector, sustainability in exhibitions, innovation and talent training.
Chen Shizhong, deputy secretary of the Tianjin municipal government, indicated that holding this event in the city will be a crucial boost to its goal of becoming the “convention and exhibition capital of the north”.
This annual forum, considered one of the largest and most prestigious in the sector worldwide, will be held this year in a special context, as it will mark the twentieth anniversary of the CEFCO.
