For the second consecutive week, rescue teams continue with search and field inspection operations at the site of the Israeli air attack on the Al-Jalahiya neighborhood in the town of Khiam.
Specialized search and rescue teams, in coordination with the Lebanese Army, managed to recover the bodies of three people from the rubble and they were transferred to the Government Hospital of Marjeyoun, the general directorate of Civil Defense reported.
According to what was disclosed, it is expected that the teams will resume their operations tomorrow until they find all those missing.
Last Saturday, the institution announced the rescue of the bodies of six dead citizens, including a Syrian woman, in the southern town of Khiam.
Lebanese health authorities have reported more than 4,000 deaths and more than 16,630 injuries as a result of Israeli hostilities against towns in the south, capital and east of the country since October 2023.
