According to the report, in just over four months, modern multi-story houses were built for more than 15 thousand families; in addition to nurseries, kindergartens, schools, hospitals and clinics.

The residences of over six thousand families were also repaired; the work on the Amnok River dam was carried out, as well as the diversion and reconstruction of the railway, roads and bridges to transform and optimize the panorama in the northwestern region of the country.

The KCNA detailed that since last August until now, more than 540 training projects were reviewed and improved under the direction of the Secretary General of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Kim Jon Un; and new rules were established in urban planning.

Party militant regiments from the capital and other localities, the Paektusan Young Heroes Brigade, units of the People’s Army and other construction forces went to the rehabilitation camps to carry out construction operations.
