Prensa Latina was in the town of Tadamoun, south of the capital, where there were several complaints from residents about the presence of at least five sites where dozens of victims are buried.
Prensa Latina noted great destruction at the site, while residents showed human remains collected from different places in the area, without knowing who they belong to.
The head of the Syrian Emergency Organization, Moaz Mustafa, said that in the town of Qatifah, 40 kilometers north of the capital, there is a site where at least tens of thousands of bodies were buried. He added One hundred thousand is the most conservative estimate of the number of bodies buried at the place.
Local authorities also found another site near the town of Ezraa in the southern province of Deraa, with dozens of bodies.
During the war that has been raging in Syria since 2011, crimes were committed that led to the disappearance of thousands, whose fate is still unknown to their families.
