On his X profile, the head of Cuban diplomacy noted that during a meeting with Mushelenga here, he reiterated island-nation’s willingness to continue to strengthen the historic ties of brotherhood between the two peoples and governments.
The meeting took place in the context of Namibian President Nangolo Mbumba’s official visit to Havana, who is heading a delegation from his country that will stay in Cuba until December 18.
During his visit, Mbumba will hold official talks with his Cuban counterpart, Miguel Díaz-Canel, and other national authorities.
The Namibian head of State will receive the José Martí Order, the highest decoration granted by the Government of the Republic of Cuba.
On Monday, Mbumba laid a wreath at the monument to National Hero José Martí in this capital, as the first official activity after arriving in Cuba on Sunday.
