Majdalani, who is a member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), denounced in a press release the continuous Israeli violations, which he described as crimes against humanity.

The Israeli military forces are committing ethnic cleansing against our people, depriving them of their freedom and threatening their right to a secure life through assassinations and sieges, destruction of homes, confiscation of land, and colonization, he stressed.

He also criticized the collective punishments against the civilian population and called on the world to take firm stances against this nation to force it to stop its attacks in Palestine.

He stressed that the international community must fulfill its obligations under global treaties and conventions to end the occupation.
