Venezuela’s vice president arrives in UAE

Abu Dhabi, Dec 10 (Prensa Latina) Venezuela's Executive Vice President and Oil Minister, Delcy Rodriguez, arrived in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Tuesday, on a new leg of her international tour.

Caracas’ Ambassador to Abu Dhabi, Nabil Abdul Khalek, welcome the executive vice president at the international airport.

This visit aims to strengthen diplomatic relations with the UAE, as part of the Bolivarian Diplomacy of Peace promoted by the Government of President Nicolas Maduro.

Official sources informed that Rodriguez will explore opportunities to promote investment, trade, and business, and review the binational cooperation map.

With this working visit, Venezuela reaffirms its willingness to strengthen relations with the UAE.

Caracas and Abu Dhabi are part of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and share other significant multilateral organizations such as the United Nations, the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), and the G77+China.

Rodriguez came to the Arab State from China, where she engaged in an intensive agenda in Beijing and Shenzhen.
