The 19 tons of goods, consisting of 14 electrical transformers, boxes of various foodstuffs, including brown sugar, rice and wheat flour, as well as school supplies.
This shipment shows that Cuba is not alone.
Last weekend, during the celebration of the 34th annual meeting of the Dominican Campaign of Solidarity with Cuba, Ambassador Angel Arzuaga appreciated the great movement of support generated in this country after Cuba’s national electric grid collapsed.
The cargo was jointly completed by the Dominican Association of Teachers, the Cuba Solidarity Campaign, the Communist Labor Party, among other groups, and new planeloaads are to follow soon.
