The Saudi government stressed the need for the various factions involved in the new situation to strive to avoid chaos and division, avoid bloodshed, and preserve the institutions and capabilities of the Syrian State.
Qatar advocated the interests of the Syrian people and the preservation of unity, sovereignty, and the country’s independence, according to its foreign ministry.
Meanwhile, Jordan defended the construction of a Syria in which terrorism and its gangs do not exist and rejected any aggression or attempt to occupy parts of its territory.
Iraq reiterated the importance of non-interference in the internal affairs of Syria and the rejection of any support for one party to the detriment of another.
Finally, the League of Arab States made up of 22 countries, called on the international community to support the Syrian people in this difficult period of transition, including by lifting any sanctions that prevent them from moving forward in these difficult times.
