In addition to participating in the important meeting on December 10 in Moscow, Singh will review, along with his counterpart Andrey Belousov, the full range of multifaceted relations between the two countries in the field of defense, including military and industrial cooperation, India’s Defense Ministry said.
The two will also exchange views on contemporary regional and global issues of mutual interest, according to an official statement.
As part of his visit, the Indian minister, accompanied by Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, will also attend the official commissioning ceremony of the latest multirole stealth guided missile frigate of the Indian Navy.
In addition, Rajnath Singh will pay tribute at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Moscow, to the Soviet soldiers killed during World War II.
He will also interact with members of the Indian community.
