The diplomat thus commented on the words of US President’s National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan regarding the fact that Ukraine should decide by itself the transfer of territories to resolve the conflict.
“Zelensky’s masters betrayed him. They always betray. Because their goal was not to help Ukraine, but to harm Russia. The problem is that many Ukrainians have been criminally indoctrinated into thinking that it’s the same thing,” said the spokeswoman.
On November 29th, in an interview with Sky News, Zelensky said that the “hot phase” of the conflict would stop if the territories controlled by Kyiv were placed under the umbrella of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
As the Straná daily later noted, this was Zelensky’s first statement since February 2022 in which he expressed his willingness to end the conflict without returning the lost territories.
