Israeli raids kill at least 10 Lebanese civilians

Beirut, Dec 2 (Prensa Latina) The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health confirmed today that another 10 civilians have died as a result of the continued Israeli military attacks, despite the ceasefire agreement.

On the sixth day of the enforcement of the pact to halt hostilities, five people lost their lives and two were injured by the Zionist attacks on the town of Haris, in the south of the country.

The health authority also reported the death of four citizens and one wounded following an Israeli armed incursion against the southern town of Taloussa, including relief personnel.

In the morning, one civilian died and another was injured when a drone shot a motorcycle near the power station on the outskirts of Jdeidet Marjeyoun.

According to local reports, Israeli drones flew low over the capital and the southern suburb of Beirut, and broke the sound barrier twice over the Bekaa in the east of the country.

In the south, Israeli fighter jets raided the outskirts of Jbaa and Wadi Azza.

The pan-Arab network Al Mayadeen indicated that the artillery targeted the area of Al-Khuraybah, sandwiched between the areas of Khiam and Rashaya Al-Fakhar.

According to the American website Axios, the White House special envoy, Amos Hochstein, told the Israelis that they must leave space for the ceasefire monitoring mechanism to start working.

Hochstein conveyed the message that Israel is implementing the ceasefire very aggressively, the American media reported.

In light of these violations, Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri demanded that the established technical committee oversee the implementation of the ceasefire agreement in relation to Israeli violations, while Lebanon and the Resistance are fully committed to what they promised.
