The powerful offensive by units of the South troop group resulted in the occupation of Ilynka in the People’s Republic of Donetsk, the military institution indicated in a statement published on its official Telegram channel.

The report added that the Center group took control of the town of Petrovka, in the same republic.

In the last 24 hours, in the area of operations of the South and Center groups, enemy losses have increased to 380 and more than 470 soldiers, respectively.

In addition, there were up to 500 casualties on the Western Group’s line of operations, 100 on the Eastern Group’s, 85 on the Dnieper Group’s, and 30 on the Northern Group’s line of operations.

The Ukrainian troops lost one HMMWV armored vehicle (US), one M113 armored personnel carrier (US), one FH-70 howitzer (UK), and other military equipment.

Infrastructure facilities at military airfields, production facilities, and drone storage sites were also damaged. Russia’s air defense downed 55 drones.
