Foreign Minister Yván Gil thanked President Daniel Ortega and Vice President Rosario Murillo, on his Instagram account, last night, for their “firm rejection” of new unilateral coercive measures against Venezuelan men and women.
He said they “have devoted their efforts to the defense and protection of our homeland.”
“We speak out once again in condemnation, repudiation and rejection of the arbitrary, illegal measures that we call aggressions… in the attempt to blind the libertarian, irrevocable and indefensible determination of the people of (Simon) Bolivar, (Hugo) Chávez and Nicolás (Maduro),” the statement expressed.
The text ratified the “sovereign union and revolutionary alliance at all times and circumstances’ between the two countries.
