Until December 26, interested parties can present their works, with narratives that promote the conservation and protection of the environment and documenting the active relationship between humans and nature.
In addition to the competitive sections, the event will host conferences, workshops, concerts, trainings, exhibitions, thematic cycles, entrepreneurship fair, among other initiatives.
According to the regulations, for the selection in competition, feature films and short films, produced between 2023 and 2024, which develop the environmental theme and address the active relationship between humans and nature, will be considered.
In the case of international productions, it is an indispensable condition that the film has not been released in Cuba before, which does not apply to those created and produced in the country.
The selected films will be notified by the Organizing Committee of the event on February 10, 2025.
Founded in 2022 by actor, director and 2024 National Film Award winner Jorge Perugorría, the event aims to bring a critical perspective to the great challenges of protecting natural resources facing the Caribbean today.
