“The Mexican Government, through the Secretariat of Foreign Affairs welcomes the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hezbollah, which ends hostilities in Lebanon,” the Secretariat of Foreign Affairs said in a message on X.

“Mexico hopes that this example will be replicated as soon as possible in Gaza, for the sake of a lasting peace that will allow the reconstruction and development of the area,” it added.

To date, Israel’s aggression against Lebanon has killed 3,823 citizens and wounded 15,859, including children, women, rescue workers, doctors and media professionals.
