Kazakhstan has been and remains a reliable strategic partner and ally of Russia in this very difficult time, Tokayev said while receiving Putin at his residence in this capital, the Kazakh president’s office stressed in a post on his Telegram channel on Wednesday.
The head of State underscored that the bilateral relations are being consolidated on the solid foundation of the strategic partnership.
Tokayev noted: “Today we will adopt very important documents: 20 agreements, which will certainly inject an additional strong impetus to further develop our good-neighborly relations and cooperation.”
Putin arrived in Kazakhstan on Wednesday on a two-day State visit for the summit with Tokayev and attend the meeting of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
