The XV Biennial of Havana invites you to enjoy the unique interpretation made by this choir of the score created by Bedoya as part of the project “All the Lighthouses of the Peruvian Coast”.
The multidisciplinary artist has been exploring the relationships between navigation, sound and writing for some years now.
The presentation at the Pier of the Lanchita de Regla, in Old Havana, is curated by Lisset Alonso, direction and music by Adalis Santiesteban and Sunlay Almeida, and sound by Alejandro Durán. Tomorrow, the XV Biennial of Havana also invites to the opening of the exhibition “LUGAR DEL HECHO”, which will host the gallery the Kingdom of this world ¨El Reino de este mundo¨, at the National Library.
On Friday will be the premiere of “Cartas para mañana”, a two-person show by young artists Sergio Marrero and Reinaldo Cid, which will take place at Galeria Galiano of the Cuban Cultural Heritage Fund.
The XV Biennial of Havana runs until February 28, celebrating its 40th anniversary and the 505th of the city.
More than 300 artists from various continents participate, 61% of them from the so-called Global South.
The event brings together in Cuba important creators of regional and world contemporary art.
