New Israeli attacks against Syria reported

Damascus, Nov 26 (Prensa Latina) The Israeli army today engaged in new air raids against targets in western Syria, local media reported, quoting military sources.

The bombings hit the villages of Al-Aminiya and Khirbet Tin Nour in the province of Homs, about 200 kilometers north of this capital.

A few hours before the aggression, five bridges on the Syrian-Lebanese border were destroyed by Israeli fighters violating Lebanese airspace.

Last Saturday, the Syrian authorities denounced that Israeli bombardments caused extensive material damage to the facilities of the Syrian-Lebanese Joussieh border crossing, located near the municipality of Qussair.

Tel Aviv intensified its military actions against targets in Syrian territory, totaling more than 140 attacks in almost 13 months and causing at least 150 deaths and extensive material damage.

The deadliest attack was on the 17th of this month, when at least 90 people were killed by Israeli air strikes against the city of Palmyra in the Syrian desert, located at about 300 kilometers northeast of the capital.

Through repeated communiqués, the Syrian government has urged to join efforts to stop the war crimes and genocide committed by Israel against the states and peoples of the region.
