Low temperatures to prevail over much of Mexico

Mexico City, Nov 26 (Prensa Latina) According to recent weather forecasts cold temperatures in most of Mexico will get colder on Tuesday, with fog banks settling in the Valley of Mexico and areas of the Chiapas and Oaxaca Mountain ranges.

Mexico’s National Meteorological Service (SMN) reported that minimum temperatures in the morning will vary from -10 to -5 degrees Celsius, with frost appearing in mountainous areas of Chihuahua, Durango, State of Mexico, Puebla, and Tlaxcala.

Additionally, -5 to 0 degrees Celsius and frost are forecast in the highlands of the states of Baja California, Guanajuato, Hidalgo, Michoacan, Oaxaca, Querétaro, Sonora, and Veracruz, and 0 to 5 degrees in areas of Aguascalientes, Chiapas, Coahuila, Jalisco, Morelos, and Mexico City.

In light of this situation, experts have urged citizens to keep warm and adequately hydrated, avoid exposing themselves to sudden changes in temperature, and pay special attention to children and the elderly.
