Also on X, the Secretary of Organization of the Communist Party of Cuba, Roberto Morales, highlighted the work of the nation’s economists and accountants, whose dedication and professionalism are increasingly necessary to overcome the current challenges, he pointed out.

Every November 26, Cuba celebrates the Economists and Accountants’ Day, with the aim of stimulating the efforts and results of the sector’s groups, and individually recognizing those who stand out in fulfilling production and service plans.

The date commemorates the appointment of Commander Ernesto Che Guevara as the first revolutionary president of the National Bank of Cuba in 1959.
