According to the Parliament’s official website, lawmakers will be attending sessions from 9:00 a.m. (local time) on December 18 of this year, at the Palace of Congresses in western Havana.

Previously, on December 16 and 17, there will be meetings of the permanent working committees of the Cuban Parliament, dealing with important national topics.

All deputies in the Central State Administration and other bodies and authorities will be duly briefed on the issue, with details published in the Official Gazette of the Republic and in the state-run media.

The National People’s Power Assembly is the supreme organ of state power in Cuba, representing the sovereign will of the people as the only authority with constituent and legislative powers in the Republic.
