The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement condemning Washington’s hostile attitude towards the Russian Federation by supplying long-range cruise missiles to Ukraine. It stated that this measure defies international laws and violates arms control agreements and treaties.

The report added that the transfer of weapons to Zelensky’s regime to attack Russian territory destabilizes security and stability in Europe and the world, and warned that this matter will take the region and its surroundings to an unprecedented level of escalation. It will also push the world to the risk of a nuclear war, the cost of which will be paid by all the peoples of the world.

The Syrian government also criticized the provision of precision missiles to Israel to carry out attacks against Syria and Lebanon, considering that this action shows the destructive role played by the United States to maintain its hegemony.

Finally, Syria warned about the US government’s efforts to fuel conflicts in areas that are already on fire and to provide its lackeys with advanced weapons, which will lead to the collapse of the system of security and stability in the world.
