According to local media, terrorists remotely detonated a bomb at the passage of the vehicle on the road between Homs and the municipality of Messiaf, near the town of Haissah.

Military sources consulted by Prensa Latina confirmed that 11 military personnel and employees were wounded, some seriously.

So far, no party claimed responsibility for the attack, which occurred in an area liberated from terrorism since 2018.

Syria faces a war imposed since 2011 and although its army, with the support of its allies Russia and Iran, liberated most of the national territory from radicals, some radical feuds and irregulars remain in the province of Idlib and in the desert.
