Organized by the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO by its acronym in Russian), more than 300 students from eighth to eleventh grades will participate in the event, learning about the history of BRICS, cultural and linguistic diversity, and cooperation between media outlets.
The festival aims to influence the training of highly qualified international specialists who speak the languages of the member countries, as one of the key elements fostering the dynamic development of relations among BRICS, said the Vice-Rector of NGIMO, Igor Putintsev.
“Our university, where the main languages of all BRICS countries are studied, plays an important role in this regard,” the lecturer said.
During the festival sessions, the editor-in-chief of the TVBrics network, Anna Lisina, will hold a workshop entitled “TV BRICS for youth: about the traditions of the BRICS countries in the media language”, where she will explain how multilingual media work.
MGIMO stands out for its international excellence. It is also one of the leading universities in Russia and the world.
