Cuban authorities thank Caribbean countries for their solidarity

Havana, Nov 22 (Prensa Latina) Cuban authorities thanked the Caribbean nations on Friday for their willingness, efforts and help for the country to repair the damage caused by hurricanes and earthquakes.

Our deepest and most sincere gratitude to the sister Caribbean nations that have offered solidarity after the natural disasters that have affected Cuba, President Miguel Díaz-Canel stated on his X account.

“The Cuban people will never forget the support provided,” the head of State wrote in the text with the hashtag #CubaNoEstáSola (#CubaIsNotAlone).

Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez wrote a similar message on X.

“We thank our sister countries of the Caribbean for the help offered in response to damage caused to various Cuban regions by natural disasters,” he said.

“Their solidarity support is an example of the principles of friendship and cooperation that promote our historic relations,” added the publication, which was also released by the Foreign Ministry.
