Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian informed that the initiative is part of national efforts to facilitate people-to-people exchanges and promote international openness.
The measure, including 30 nations, will expand exchange visits and extend the visa-free stay period from the current 15 days to 30 days.
The visa exemption, effective from November 30, 2024, to December 31, 2025, states that travelers will be able to enter China for tourism, business, family visits, or transiting for a maximum of 30 days.
