The AL official stated that the White House’s stance consolidates the international powerlessness in facing the most dangerous conflict in the Middle East and, in turn, allows the Israeli extreme right to advance its annexation and colonization plans.

He underscored that the decision is a green light to Israel to continue its bloody campaign against Palestinian civilians in Gaza, including hunger as a weapon of war.”

Aboul-Gheit also denounced the forced displacement of Palestinians within the besieged enclave and pointed out that the Benjamin Netanyahu government is considering a plan to clear northern Gaza.
