DPRK PM and Russian minister to strengthen bilateral ties

Pyongyang, Nov 21 (Prensa Latina) — The Prime Minister of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Kim Tok Hun, and the Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia, Alexandr Kozlov, expressed their desire to strengthen bilateral cooperation.

According to the state news agency KCNA, after the XI Meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission for Cooperation in Trade, Economy, Science, and Technology, Kozlov paid a courtesy visit to Kim Tok Hun, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Labor Party and Deputy Chairman of the State Affairs Committee.

In a friendly atmosphere, the two leaders discussed the importance of closer ties between Pyongyang and Moscow, in line with the wishes of their top leaders, Kim Jong Un and Vladimir Putin.

Additionally, Kozlov officially presented several animals to Kim Tok Hun that President Putin had sent to enhance the collection of the Korean Central Zoo.

The meeting was also attended by DPRK Minister of Economic Relations with Foreign Affairs Yun Jong Ho, Vice Foreign Minister Kim Jong Gyu, and Russian Ambassador to the DPRK Alexandr Matsegora.
