During a visit to a factory in Songchon District, South Pyongan Province, he urged builders nationwide to complete projects under the 20×10 policy by year’s end.

This initiative aims to establish high-efficiency factories in 20 districts annually for the next decade, ultimately covering all 200 districts in the DPRK.

Kim expressed satisfaction with the progress, primarily managed by the armed forces. He highlighted the importance of quality, aesthetics, architecture, and national lifestyle.

It was in Songchon that he launched this movement last February, and he stressed the need for a thorough evaluation of the policy’s first year to present results and experiences at the upcoming WPK Plenary in December.
