“We send congratulations to the people and Government of Mexico on the commemoration of the 114th anniversary of the Mexican Revolution,” the Foreign Ministry stated on X.
“We remember this important historic milestone of justice and sovereignty, reaffirming our ties of friendship and cooperation with this sister country,” the Ministry added.
Every year, Mexicans celebrate the anniversary with a civic-military parade, which marks the beginning of the Revolution after Francisco I. Madero called to arms to fight the Porfirio Díaz dictatorship.
Above economic, political and ideological differences, a feeling of nationality emerges that evokes feats and recalls the heroes of an uprising that later became a civil war that transformed the political and social structures of the country.
Cuba and Mexico have had uninterrupted diplomatic relations since 1902, and there are numerous cooperation and exchange programs and projects in various areas.
