Vietnamese Prime Minister to begin visit to Dominican Republic

Santo Domingo, Nov 19 (Prensa Latina) The Prime Minister of Vietnam, Pham Minh Chinh, will begin an official visit to the Dominican Republic, with the purpose of strengthening economic, trade and investment relations between the two countries.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MIREX) reported that the head of government will arrive in Santo Domingo in the afternoon through the International Airport of the Americas, Dr. José Francisco Peña Gómez, and tomorrow he will be received by President Luis Abinader at the National Palace.

Pham Minh Chinh and Abinader will hold a private audience, followed by an expanded meeting of the delegations of the two countries.

Both are expected to make statements to the media, according to the Foreign Ministry.

The Prime Minister is also scheduled to meet, separately, with the President of the Senate of the Republic, Ricardo de los Santos, and the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Alfredo Pacheco, at the headquarters of the National Congress.
