The publication reveals “alarming” statistics from the Report 2023 of the Child Protection System, which has registered 8,000 cases of violence against children and adolescents, 22 percent of which were sexually abused and 2 percent were related to child sexual exploitation.
In most instances, girls and adolescents were involved, accounting for 80 percent of cases filed.
