Minrex said on its website the assistance consists of tents, blankets, sleeping mats and water purifiers, which will be channeled through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
These items will arrive in the country on November 25, to tend to the needs of recent natural disasters victims, according to a press release issued by the Japanese embassy in Havana.
The aid, worth 25 million yen (about 160 thousand dollars), was sent bearing in mind “the close relations of friendship and solidarity, with a long history, between both nations,” indicates the text of the diplomatic legation.
