Foreign Minister sacks Josep Borrell after trying to hurt Venezuela

Caracas, Nov 19 (Prensa Latina) Foreign Minister Yván Gil said that the European Union (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security, Josep Borrell, is leaving his post after five years of trying to lie and harm Venezuela, he said.

“Borrell is leaving the European Union (EU),” the top diplomat wrote on his Telegram account.

Gil said that Borrell, inspired by his old colonialist thinking, was once again threatening the Venezuelan people to apply sanctions and ignoring our democracy, which “gives Europe a lot of lessons”.

Failure after failure!…a mandate ends today with more lies about our country, completed by its defeats, the historic ones against the European empire and the recent tipped off by the Bolivarian Revolution, he said.

Venezuela’s foreign minister said: “It should serve as a lesson. We are children of (Simon) Bolivar and the victory for our independence has belonged to us for more than 200 years.

They could not and will not! he said.
