In early October, the Pakistani Government approved the creation of a fund to release resources to help victims of the Israeli aggression in the occupied Palestinian territories and Lebanon.

At a Cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif gave the necessary instructions to the State Bank of Pakistan to open an account for this purpose, and Planning and Development Minister Ahsan Iqbal was appointed to oversee the relief efforts.

Representatives of political parties also adopted a statement condemning Israel’s continued aggression and voicing unwavering support for the Palestinian people.
