Speaking on national television, Stanekzai urged the international community and world organizations to cooperate fully with the interim government based on the Doha Agreement.
The current situation in Afghanistan requires to be addressed positively and in a constructive manner, as a stable, resilient, and peaceful country is in their and our interests, the official of the Islamic Emirate (Taliban government) pointed out.
In his words, the Islamic Emirate has adopted a policy focused on the economy and its international relations; therefore, he requested foreign assistance in several fields, including politics, economy, and agriculture.
The senior diplomat added, “Our appeal to the countries that have bombed and destroyed Afghanistan for the last 20 years is that it is their ethical duty and their obligation under the Doha Agreement to step forward and cooperate in all fields, so that we can stand on our own feet.”
