DTV reported early Thursday the heavy police operation at Quintana’s home, where officers seized a computer and two boxes with documents.
“Around 02:00 hours, local time, after a raid (…) and several hours of search, a computer and two boxes with information were seized.
Quintana was immediately escorted by police to a van,” the private channel reported.
A number of police officers came to Quintana’s house, in the Sopocachi district in downtown La Paz, with a search and arrest warrant, and surrounded the property.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office has charged Quintana with committing terrorism, provoking armed uprising and other crimes committed during the 24 days of the road blockade.
Appearing on TV, Quintana justified the blockade, which caused economic damage estimated by the Government at two billion dollars and hindered public mobility.
