Local authorities indicated that the air raids destroyed buildings and a bridge in the town of Al-Yobanieh connecting Syria and Lebanon.
According to sources several positions along the border strip were also bombed.
In turn, the state agency SANA reported, the Anti-Aircraft Defense units were activated to intercept the Israeli missiles.

The day before, at least nine people were killed and 20 others injured by an Israeli attack on a building in the town of Sayeda Zeinab, located about five kilometers south of Damascus.
Last Saturday, at least two Syrian soldiers were killed and a few others injured in bombings against military positions and facilities of the Scientific Research Center and the production plants of the Ministry of Defense, south of the province of Aleppo, in the northwest of the country.
