The prime minister will arrive in Rio de Janeiro on Nov. 18 to attend the G20 Summit, in which India has actively contributed to the current discussions within the bloc as part of the troika along with Brazil and South Africa, the Foreign Ministry said.
At the Summit, Modi will outline India’s stances on key global issues, referencing the G20 Leaders’ Declaration from New Delhi and the Voice of the Global South Summits hosted by India over the past two years, according to the source.
The Indian prime minister is also expected to hold side meetings with dignitaries participating in the summit.
