“A total of 116 countries support this declaration, it is the new multipolar and pluricentric world that is being born, of which Venezuela is modestly a part,” President Nicolas Maduro wrote on his account on Telegram.
Maduro noted that humanity must do more to end fascism, neo-fascism and Zionism, and “the Fatherland of the Liberator Simon Bolivar is doing the same, neutralizing any outbreak of hatred, discrimination and violence.”
He stressed that the project of fascism has no place in the Bolivarian Republic.
“We salute and fully support the struggle of Russian President Vladimir Putin and his government,” he said.
Last week Caracas hosted the first World Anti-Fascist Parliamentary Forum, attended by more than 700 delegates from 60 countries, which resulted in the approval of an international network articulated with the world’s parliaments and a Parliamentary Observatory of attacked countries.
The creation of a Parliamentary Network of Sovereignty and Peace of the Bolivarian Alternative for the Peoples of Our America-Peoples’ Trade Treaty also gained momentum.
