Referring to reports of bomb threats at polling stations in the United States, the spokesman told reporters attending his usual press briefing that Russia did not know the details and it is not Moscow’s affairs.
Peskov stressed that his country stands by its policy of non-meddling in other states’ internal affairs.
“We have not interfered, are not interfering, and will not interfere in anyone’s internal affairs, and in this case, we are very firm in defending our interests on non-interference in our internal affairs,” the spokesman stressed.
CBS News, quoting a source, reported that about 30 fake bomb threats were received during the US elections. In the state of Georgia alone, about 17 fake bomb threats were recorded.
Fox TV informed that five polling stations in Fulton County, Georgia, stayed open late after a forced voting disruption.
