This new campaign aims to support the educational center that we have been sponsoring for about three years, the group’s president, Pedro Pinto, told Prensa Latina.
Pinto informed that several comrades will travel to the island in the coming months and will take the donation, which also includes medicines.
“These are small but essential activities. The idea is to maintain the contribution,” he said.”
Pinto recalled that Colectivo 2 de Diciembre has participated in other campaigns, such as “Un granito de amor por Cuba” (A Grain of Love for Cuba), promoted by graduates from Cuba’s Latin American School of Medicine (ELAM), the Gladys Marin Foundation, and the one conducted to send syringes to the Caribbean country during the pandemic.
