The group stated in a statement to which Prensa Latina had access, that in difficult times solidarity is essential and thanked the project “A Cuba Hay Quererla” (Cuba Needs Love) for channeling the contribution.
The Accreven’s leading board also officially announced its willingness to sponsor Havana’s Comandante Manuel Fajardo Hospital, “by systematically delivering donations collected in a modest and voluntary manner” by the community of Cubans living in the Bolivarian Republic.
They also confirmed that they will always be united with their country and will defend the achievements of the Cuban Revolution, as well as the legacy of its historic leader, Commander in Chief Fidel Castro.
“The grateful will always accompany the Homeland. The best way to say is by doing…!”, as José Martí once said, the note indicated.
