Chinese astronauts safely return to Earth

Beijing, Nov 4 (Prensa Latina) China's Shenzhou-18 astronauts returned safely to Earth today after completing a six-month mission in space.

The return capsule, with Ye Guangfu, Li Cong and Li Guangsu on board, landed at the planned site of Dongfeng in the northern Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

According to China´s Manned Space Agency, after staying in orbit for 192 days, all three were in good health.

Last week, the relay team aboard the Shenzhou-19 successfully docked with the Tiangong space station, marking the start of a new stage of crew transfer into orbit.

As noted by the agency, the spacecraft was sent into space aboard a Grand March-2F carrier rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, in the northwest of the country.

The three astronauts of the mission entered the Tiangong station where they met with the crew of the Shenzhou-18, in a scheduled process of exchange and crew replacement.

Among the milestones of Beijing’s space race are the rover that reached the hidden face of the moon and the construction of the Tiangong station, known as the Heavenly Palace.

In addition, China constantly launches satellites with different commitments, such as remote sensing, commercial services, communications, and meteorology for research.

Recently, the Chang’e-6 probe successfully landed in China with samples from the hidden face the Moon for the first time in human history.
