Xi Jinping stressed that throughout these four decades, China and the United Arab Emirates have been “good friends of mutual trust and win-win cooperation partners,” and mentioned that the relationship between both nations remains healthy and stable, which has fused political trust and aligned their development strategies.
The president highlighted that practical cooperation in different sectors yielded abundant fruits and cultural exchanges were intensified, while both parties maintained effective communication and coordination on regional and international issues. He also recalled the state visit Mohamed bin Zayed made to China last May, in which the two leaders reached important consensus that defined the direction for the next stage in bilateral ties.
Xi expressed his commitment to take the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two nations to a higher level, with a view to benefiting their peoples and contributing to regional and international peace and stability.
Responding similarly, Mohamed bin Zayed made evident his wishes for China’s development and prosperity, and exposed the UAE’s willingness to consolidate and strengthen the comprehensive strategic partnership.
For their part, Chinese Premier Li Qiang and his Emirati counterpart Mohamed bin Rashid exchanged congratulatory messages.
In turn, Chinese Prime Minister, Li Qiang, expressed China’s willingness to work together with the UAE to implement the consensus reached between the respective leaders and enrich the contents of the comprehensive strategic partnership, while bin Rashid reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to deepening bilateral relations and strengthening cooperation in various fields.
